Top 10 Finish in Inaugural UEMS Event Kicks Off New Season
Saturday night Al made the tow down to Mercer, PA to compete in the inaugural United E Mod Series Event at Mercer Raceway Park‘s Chiller Thriller lid-lifter.
Al had never raced at the northwestern PA oval previously, and wasn’t sure what to expect. But, being the savvy veteran that he is, Al had a good idea of what to do after a few hot laps, getting a good feel for the track and the needed setup.
In the feature event, Al ran a smart race, avoiding some typical 1st night mishaps on track, and piloted the #71 machine home to a respectable and clean 8th place finish.
Look for Al to next be in action on April 19 at McKean County Raceway for their test and tune practice night.
